Cappie *loves* massage and finding a workshop to attend. Rachel loves dusty old museums and rockhounding. We love to help you organize your perfect vacation.

Some of our activities are free to guests, such as tubing on our winding river, fishing, nightly bonfires, and the wellness studio to name a few. We also have blankets, hammocks, and pillows if you prefer to find a special spot on the 50 acres for a nap, meditation, or just breathing in all that fresh air.

If you seek something besides the items listed, the staff at Shortgrass will work with our partners to organize an experience bespoke to you, our majordomo coordinating every detail. Twenty-four (24) hours notice is generally required, but last-minute requests are sometimes possible. 

Some special events may require more advance notice, such as Black Hills Roundup (rodeo) tickets, personal tours of bison herds, or a guided climb of Devil’s Tower.
